Madeira, dream turned into nightmare.

The most important city of the Atlantic archipelago, one of the destinations preferred by the international beach tourism, presents a bleak situation and there are few passers-by walking through its narrow streets, many of them muddy.
In a large quarter of Funchal, the military housed more than 200 refugees whose homes were often swept away by the force of floods, Efe explained more of the homeless, who received clothing and food but expect authorities to provide them with a place to go.
Tourism in Madeira in 2010, is already compromised. This year is to rebuild that which has long been the tourist paradise of many domestic and foreign.
At this time Portugal seems to have America, earthquakes and tornadoes mines begin to appear with some frequency. All the chaos generated in Madeira is the result of lack of intelligence of human beings, our builders and engineers only want is to make money and do not build in order to harmonize with nature, namely:
Adapting the building to the surroundings and not to build changing the existing natural streams. Unfortunately it is what makes this country more.
Change the courses of small streams and rivers, clearing the slopes of hills and plains without planting vegetation to hold the soil, giving rise to the acceleration of erosion and then with the rains the inevitable occurs, as Mother Nature does not go to sleep.
